Hi my mark 1 Leon TDI fr has over the last few months develops a slight hesitation at about 1800 revs pulling away at relatively light throttle only seems to do it in first and second gears, it sounds like its chattering the wastegate then above those revs nothing it pulls like a train. The other thing is when you idling in gear whilst in traffic if you touch the throttle its like there's no 1 or 2% throttle its like it jumps to 5% then when you release the pedal it jumps back to idling, hope this makes sense let me know if you need anymore info.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
Kind regards
Fred

Thanks Nic for your reply, I've replaced my dog bone mount bushes With powerflex ones and the jerky part throttle has gone thanks for that, also the hesitation seems to only be there in colder weather before engine is up to temp so I'll pull the egr off and give it a good clean. Back to the dBm bushes erm I put the red diesel ones in the back and a purple in the front and I do hope they bed in quick as I'm getting vibration white finger from the steering wheel and my teeth are gonna rattle out lol, the vibration is quite bad never thought it would be this bad at low revs but never mind its a much nicer drive when the revs are up
Thanks again
Fred

My jerky on and off throttle has now gone since replacing the bushes but I was slightly apprehensive about them as my car has only done 44k and I've had it since 9k and 14 months old, I do believe my hesitation is egr related because it seems to do it more in colder weather but I'll let you know what I find when I get the time to strip it.

Mine is perfect in cold weather but awful in warm weather :p
