Jet spray on FMIC

Has anyone setup a system to spray there FMIC with water? Like the system they use on Evo's.

Would be simple to do. Just wondering how effective it is and worth doing?

its been done plenty

i decided to experiment before spending any money what so ever and tapped some hose into the rear screen wash line which i then clipped to the top of the fmic, punched a number of holes, and dso when i activated the rear wash it trickled down the fmic. the idea worked ok, i could see after testing that the fmic was partially wet, however gains werent really noticable.

in the end i didnt bother refining the idea

I've thought about this also, but homemade kits will never really work unless you can get a really fine mist rather than just wetting the fmic.

NX do a Nitrous intercooler chiller kit if you really wanna splash out - personally i'd rather see the gas inside instead

I was going to make my own kit with a fan jet washer and make a little braket to mount it so it sprayed over the cooler properly.

But after doing some logging in intake temps I dont need to to it
