Update: calibres gone..fr wheels back on 4 while till I decide on wheels..wanna get something a bit different so watch this space ;)

tbh i feel the standard lupus alloys look better anyways, it's all about OEM+ :p

clutch wise, as mentioned earlier, the most common brand is the Sachs SRE performance setup.

Other brands include, Valeo, black diamond, CG Motorsport and Drive Torque. Heard very little about Drive torque, Valeo is well recognised through different circles as a decent brand, black diamond have only just started doing clutches and ive seen a couple of people on here say they purchased from CG motorsport to find its actually Sachs but half the price and similar performance. so choice is yours.

Had a lot of views on this but not many replys not sure why lol

not sure what im gonna do about performance..might just concentrate on outside and inside and get her show spec...and wait till next car for performance

alot of people dont tend to post until something significant happens, until the evenings or they see something they either like or hate lol. Also worth while ensuring its an easy read as people tend to switch off after 30 secs lol

performance is an easy win tbh and you dont have to spend a fortune on it, clutch £450, fmic - £450, turbo (pd150 stnd - £350, hybrid - £1100), you have your turbo back exhaust already so your already on the way, if you really wanted to, you could easily top 300bhp from these engines with the addition of injectors, big turbo conversion and a few other bits that ive forgotton. Upgrading the brakes is a start as well as if you go up the power scale you'll definately need them.

yhh maybe in the future i will as ive only had the car 2 months..so anything can happen..first i want to get the exterior and interior show spec..trying to find out if seatcupra do club stands at shows..but i dont think they do..

and also i do agree with you about oem+ but everyones doing it nowadays so want to be different and make it stand out when next to other mk4s..and i think 17's are to big..16's make it sit at a good height i think :):p

its all about taste like personally i wouldn't put coilovers on the car because everybody decks their car along with either VRS, BBS or TT alloys (most popular sets) if i change the alloys I will be hunting down a set of genuine OZ superlegga's, Leon Starfish's (common I know), or Leon FR+, as I already have the 16" Leon cupra wheels as winters in the garage

see as you can probably tell i like the euro look..rather than the race look..so its all about being low and wide for me tbh :D

Very nice Ibiza mate! Looked great on the Calibre Vintage's. Looking forward to pics of the merc wheels on! :)

yh some people had mixed views on them..so did i..i was undersided..and then someone offered me money for them so i thought y not..the 17's were too big anyway
