To be fair the car there going on is only a 1.2 so I'm not worried to much about the handling. Just want to be lower that all. Will ford puma drop links be ok or do you suggest getting adjustable ones

Another set of coilovers which needed adjustable drop links? People aren't getting told enough they need these.

I bought ford puma ones for mine (if I ever get the bloody coilovers back!) No idea if they are short enough, they were only a couple of quid of ebay though. Otherwise you're looking at V-Maxx adjustable drop links which are about £35-40.

Could be easier to buy ford pumas and if they aren't short enough cut and weld to correct length.

I think I will just wait until I get paid on Friday and then get the adjustable ones from dpmperformance. That way I can make sure they are the right ones

Seriously? Cut and weld? Really?

Thats what I got told would be ok...I know what would obviously happen. But I got told that would be another solution

No no no no no , you would loose all tensile strength heating the metal up, it would sheer pretty quickly and while you dont really need the anti roll bar, what it sheers into or could rupture is potentially quite dangerous.

Oh yeah i understand what could happen without it, that was my boyfriends bro who told me that. He still has my coilovers and was meant to fit them but I'm gonna get them back and get a garage to fit them for me. Doesn't reply to my texts so hoping he hasnt got rid of them or someone else is using them.

Whats a german MOT got to do with anything, all that states is they wont cut your fingers if you try and change a tyre around it!

I am willing to bet a shiney pound he has made the handeling worse, if someone decent were to actually test the car.

Aye cmon over n test it yerself sure ;) You might wanna take a few chill pills while you're at it n all

I'm chilled but I'm not coming all the way from Germany to Ireland to test your mates BMW with cheap coil overs.

Really?? That's you chilled? You seemed to be taking it awfully personal well!! You just seemed intent on being argumentative and negative. I know what the car was like before and after, you don't... it's an improvement over the crap springs that were in it, simples

 lets just agree to disagree. I'm not saying they're amazing coilovers or anything but on the one application I have experienced they seem to be ok and he hasn't had any problems with them and I'm sure many others haven't either. If it were my car I'd have gone for a spring and damper kit personally

Lol funny
Not tryina get at u, but Gaz has a point , you do sometimes seem to be a bit aggressive towards peoples comments. Chill out a bit more, no one wants to have someone jump down their throat when they say something not quite right or when someone doesn't agree with what they're saying. We're not all experts and those that aren't don't pretend to be.
Be nice. :)
