No piccie as of yet, but I have just cut the long thin bit off my ariel, and reception is just as good.. Looks 2000% better too.. Used a paint pen to paint the top and off I popped off.. Looks brilliant.. Hopefully, pics soon, When she is nice and clean.. Because now she looks diiiiiirty!!

Sorry about not throwing any pics up.. But I have minor updates.. Aero Wipers.. Debadged.. Fog light fixed (Finally).. 55 profile tyre on rear (Sits well in arch).. New Splitter as old one has a tear down the O/S (Std one, soon to be colour coded and cut out).. Drilled and Vented disks for front (not yet arrived).. Talking to a guy one here about a Spoiler and Gearnob and gaitor.. Im going to take a piccie tomorrow and have a before - after thing..
Also, the car failed its MOT a couple of saturdays ago.. It had a O/S ripped CV Gaitor, headlights too high, brake light out, steering rack insecure and seatbelt was nackered..
It was all done by my dads mate, and he said the steering rack had to come out and be fully replaced.. When he received the £200 part, he discovered that the full rack wasnt needed, just a part that costs £50 needed to be replaced, so that saved me a fortune.. Everything else was simple.. But cost me £150 for everything.. Get in!!!
Now its just a case of waiting for these parts, painting them, and then slamming the front end down (as the car is still begging on cupra suspension..). Then I might be happy with it.. Maybe an exhaust, as I need a little throatyness on acceleration..

Very tidy first car mate. Be careful though, hate to sound like a parent, but i'm 18 and learnt the hard way. Bought a mk2 ibiza for my first car, and £3000 pound later I'm still not finished and it hasn't really changed much... Not being a party pooper, just recomend keeping track of it cos now I've got a mk3 cupra and cant mod it straight away! Very nicee first car though mate!

I know what you mean mate.. You can pour money into these cars!! I'm liking the change to a cupra!! That's some step up isn't it. And thanks a lot for your kind words. I've put a load of time into this and hopefully it should start to take shape now... Thanks again dude..
Im not too sure about that owen, I'll have to take another pic tomorrow or something for you, it has a diagram of the circuit on the top of the box so I'll take a pic of that too..

Thats the one! Does it have any writing on the other side? All the wiring diagrams I've found online don't show the internals to the relay. Just wondering if I could source it locally :s Thanks for the help mate, it's mighty appreciated
There wasnt any writing on it mate.. It was exactly the same as this on the other side.. Its fitted now, ill take some pics of it all up and running.. Looks facking awesome!!! Especially with the LED sidelights.. I need LED fogs too, I dont use them, but looks shitty with white/blue sides & heads, and yellow fogs.. Pics to follow of car + snow..
Ta for looking mate. got the lights and the wiring loom was included, so just got to get hold of some ballasts...shouldn't be hard
you seen my LED's in the fog lights? took me a matter of hours to do, and looks good imo makes my current sidelights look like blue!Daze

Car is looking awesome. Always nice to have a good first car! like veyron pointed out somewhere a polo rear wiper will look fine on the back. But only get one if you use it if not get rid Black spoiler is a nice touch to. COuld look good with the roof wrapped in black vinyl to Nice break disks, caliper wise I would go for something different orange, green, even pink?

Can you buy justs the ballasts? I thought they come in a full set.. I have saw those.. I likey a lot, thats why I thought of doing it myself because I noticed you had lmfao! It took you hours? Christ!! What is it you actually have to do?
Cheers buddy! Lmfao, this was after a goooood clean! I had wet seats for about 2 days! Plus, cherry sheen for the black bits on the dash
