Yes it say's in that one that HID's will pass. There's a lot of confusion, ive read some where it said HID's are a pass with washers and levelling, and ive read somewhere that HID's are allowed if they have working washers and levelling, but if they dont have them they pass, its only if they have them but they're broken they fail.

To be honest i really dont know. I would be taking them out if i was going to Kwik-Fit for example, only takes 10 mins and its not worth a fail for it.

Yee they couldn't do anything about that!

They put the car on a rolling road so they can get the emission readings, i saw them do it at my first MOT, can was bouncing up and down as they put the power on and off. Not sure how else they'd test it, but someone on another forum has an A4 that's decked and he failed for tyres fouling arches :(

You mean the side strips? They're still off on one side haha! I just heated them up with a heat gun , shoved a knife wrapped in masking tape down it gently prized it off. The pins on it are more like locating holes, don't actually hold it on.

I need to order some trim tape some trim tape off ebay but my paypal is blocked at the moment :(

Well I just dropped my car off at the body shop and he said that it will be harder to take mouldings off and re-for as the trim tape is **** and only hold for a few weeks and if he don't it on the car the finish would be crap cause he has to build up primer to get a smooth finish, a bit of primer could leak into the join when the mouldings meet the car and it won't look professional. I see where he's coming from so told him to wait and I'll either buy some new mouldings (just rang seat up and it's £30.90 inc VAT for the mouldings) or I'll get them off and use some sort of bonding agent to stick back on with.

Plans in the pipelines!

Mods are going on hold as of now because i may be selling the good old flying banana, no point putting more mods on only to take them off in a couple of weeks.

Looking to get a 20vT Ibiza Cupra maybe in the next couple of weeks so here's hoping!

Yeah i did consider it, but i only do about 35 miles a week hahah mostly a 3 mile drive to the GF's house! Absolute maximum i do every week is a 12 mile drive into harrogate to see a mate!
A diesel wouldn't like it :( Plus my car gets about same economy as a Cupra anyway so fuel costs will be barely noticeable!
