Blueflame 3" turbo back, decat resonated system fitted.
Horrible job removing the standard dp without dropping the subframe. 3" dp fitted.
Decat and 42dd 02 spacer.
Centre resonated section.
The back box isn't perfect, but I'll have a play with it in the new year when some bushes get renewed.
All in all the fit is pretty good. I've used new gaskets and holts exhaust putty on the sleeve with a 3" clamp. I've got the two rear mount bushes new to fit in the shed, and the middle one needs doing as it was snapped when I removed the old system. I had a few problems though, did this whilst I was at it and didn't tighten it up properly and it worked loose, so it was back in the air last night to find the knocking. I used lock tite this time, just a tad.
Re sealing the rears. I used kitchen silicone as our kitchen had just been done lol.
Turns out it's the front door that caused the leak, the butyl tape hasn't worked so I'll re re-do those tomorrow probably.
Had a few little niggles too, my rad is leaking steam from behind the fans. I bought some k seal and whacked that in today, it's worked as well. Going to flush the system and refill with vag coolant next year. The steam that was coming out was causing condensation on the o/s indicator plug, so I took that apart, and used dielectric grease on it for last night. Turned out to be a faulty bulb though.
The temperature suddenly dropped the other day, so I scanned the car and it was the coolant temp sensor, so a quick trip out and I came back with a green top cts.
Topped up the power steering fluid too today, and did some drilling last weekend! Remember the sheared headlight bolts on page one? The hole.

Plans now are to get a few
reviews on double din consoles and get that done in the new year, then lay off a bit and enjoy! The noise from the front and the back is immense now! Hope you lot enjoy this update as it's quite a big one!
