The Bora they came out of, which is now in car heaven.

The cupra r I am in the middle of breaking. It had loads of goodies, I've pinched a relentless pro 4 manifold, phonelic? inlet gasket, H and R 25mm rarb, liquid gauge, r dead pedal and some other little bits. It also had a 25mm H and R farb, welly cooler, 3" dp and 2.75" decat, plus a milltek 2.75" cat back, loads of stuff which is now gone, only really have little bits like the r body kit, plus normal Leon bits.

The reason it got broken. This plus another hole on the exhaust side and obviously the snapped rod.

The Toledo, went halves with a mate as he wants the interior for his FR+ and I want the double din setup including the handbrake surround, so a full install this time round.

My trusty steed, which turns out not to be so trusty lol. I was using my Leon as a van pretty much, so I thought I'd buy something I can use as a van - a van. Hopefully I can make a few more quid off this one in someway. I still have the BMW too, which needs some rear end work then it'll be getting MOT'd, drift tax applied and sold.

The only picture I have with the wheels.

It's £85 not sure if he needs both or if that includes VAT. Get your rarb on and buy a liquid gauge Luke, I'd forgotten how much I love that little gauge.

Shall have to give Bill a shout at some point and see if he'd mind doing it for me, could be a winner.

RE: Liquid guauge; I have another potential mini project that might render that unecessary, but think I should probably get on with the million and one things I've already started first!

Cheers. Will spill if/when things get moving in that direction :)
No real updates on either due to being away at Talybont last week and a wedding all weekend - will try and make a little progress this weekend!

Clutch is on its way, alongside a metal impeller water pump, 16 row mocal oil cooler and thermostatic sandwich plate and I have sorted out an engine stand and bought an engine hoist. I think all that's left is the little bits like gaskets, and wmi now.

Update again.

Head gasket went on the van, bought a 2.5td Pajero to get the engine and trailer home from work. The Pajero is now for sale and the van awaiting scrap. My Cupra R has now gone into hibernation, at my mums until I've prepped everything engine/ancillaries wise and removed the BMW from the garage. I'm slowly making the CB500 road worthy, to sell on and I'm also going to put the Kawasaki up for sale due to getting a Yamaha XT 660 next month.

I picked up my new 'daily' on Sunday, a Mk1 FR+ tdi with 114k. It has Full Seat history, just had the belt and pump done, and I'm going to put the half leather seats, door cards and arm rest in it out of the Toledo. It has tinted rear windows and the platinum LCR has tinted fronts, so they're going to be swapped and I will also put the handbrake out of the LCR in it. I have a set of LCR wheels to go on too, couldn't give them away at £200 so they're also going to be fitted, along with the decat pipe I've ordered which should suit the 3 month old cobra cat back. Should be a nice daily and it was cheap which is a bonus.

Turbo for the LCR should be arriving this week some time, Dan at BBT said it only needed a final VSR balance before shipping. I have also picked up a fuel pump and de immobilised ecu for it. All that's left is wmi which will be after Christmas and the gaskets blah blah. Hopefully I'll get some engine updates up soon, just need to get the bolts to put it on the engine stand. Busy winter for me.

I have cars dotted all over the place, currently 7 cars and 2 bikes. Hopefully down to 3 cars and 1 bike by Xmas though, just need the time to sort them and all their different needs out.

Don't really know what I was doing with my life buying so many cars back a few months. Plans have changed, everything is sold for the LCR performance wise and its got a standard interior again. It's got an MOT this weekend, should fly through might get an advisory on front brakes, then up for sale. It's been fun but with a huge pay rise in a few weeks it's time to upgrade.

I've toyed with the idea of a mk6 or mk7 Golf R, but it would mean me financing a big chunk of the value, or leasing. I don't want to do that so I'm currently looking at late Edition 30's or 2010 ish MK6 gti's I can buy outright to save any stupid monthly payments etc, don't want to risk the mortgage and I actually want to benefit from the pay rise a little instead of it all going on a car, bit bored of them at the moment. LCR will be reasonably priced given its pretty bad paint, but good mechanical order and stage 2 etc.

I'll keep this updated with the LCR's replacement though. Going to view a couple of MK6's this weekend. One is stage 2, dsg with 50k and the other is stage 1 dsg, but with some nice factory extras like xenons (big job to fit after manufacture) sunroof, winter pack and 49k. Watch this space.

Golf was boring, sold it.
Bought this.

3.6L twin turbo V8, no mpg. Towing my drift car back to Cornwall here, which now looks like this.

The BMW is being sold at the end of the month to fund me leaving the Navy, so when the RRS went wrong both mechanically and my relationship with the dealer I rejected it for £1k more than I paid.... explain that? Now I have this boring grandad car as I'm being sensible for a couple of years to find my feet in civvy street.

Bought some AP coilovers which was a pain as it's a DCC car so I had to mess about with plugs etc.

This Saturday I bought these, 20" Speedlines should be fitted in a month or so.

I miss my LCR something rotten, I WILL one day own another!
