Juddering at idle

Hi,
Bought a 1.4L Ibiza a couple of months back, and pretty much instantly noticed the whole car shaking at idle, you can see the engine shaking around, almost like it's skipping a beat every now and then, and it vibrates through the whole car.

Been back to the dealer several times, who keep claiming there's nothing showing on diagnostics. It's had a full engine flush, injector cleaner, the dealer reckons they're put 2 new injectors in it, but that hasn't helped. Apparently it's normal for the engines to have a bit of shake in them, however my partner who has just upgraded to a new Ibiza FR, had the same car as the one I've got, and hers never did it.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed shaking at idle, and if anyone has any suggestions for me.
It feels almost like it's losing compression every now and then, maybe a valve not closing properly. The revs don't appear to be moving at all, so I don't think it's throttle related, might be wrong though.
It's not a huge deal, it's just slightly annoying, and I'm paranoid that it's something more serious that will get worse and lead to me not being able to sell the car a couple of years down the line.

Also on an unrelated note, I'd love to fit some daytime running lights to the front, but all the kits I'm finding online don't look like they'd fit very well. There's not really any gaps in the grill like there is on say a Golf, so other than popping them right at the bottom of the bumper grill, can't really see anywhere else for them. Has anyone else got some rigged up on a MK4 Ibiza that look half decent?

I get shaking at idle (1.4 petrol) but it's a light shaking, sometimes at idle the engine runs so smooth you can't even tell it's running, but at other times it has that light shaking that you appear to be describing.

Shaking has the same cadence as when you're running on 3 cylinders, except the strength of the shaking is nowhere near as bad.

Does yours shake when hot, cold or both? Maybe that has something to do with it? Would be good to know if this is normal or not!

It appears for me to be doing it regardless of hot or cold, but you have to be sat at idle for a good 10-15 seconds before you start noticing it jumping around, doesn't start straight away. I'm under the impression it's not a misfire though as nothing is showing on diagnostics.

Sounds like I've got the same issue now you've mentioned the 15 second delay; though I've always just assumed it's normal.

Thinking about it, maybe it's a slight leak in the oil filler unit (the little assembly that slots onto the top of the engine, the thing the cap itself locks onto), I know that when I take off the filler unit the engine shakes, and I do have a tiny tiny oil leak from the seal. Just thinking out loud here though?

Could it be a MAF sensor that needs cleaned? (don't know if yours is MAF or MAP) My dads derv had a very lumpy idle until I gave it a rev in second gear haha
