Hey guys i recently baught the above HU and i cant figure out how to make it work correctly.
I own a 2015 Seat Leon Mk3 (MQB platform) and recently installed a Junsun V2 Plus Android head unit (8667Q, 1280×720).
Since the install, I’m having several CANBUS / MFD issues and I’m hoping someone with a similar setup can help.
Problems / symptoms:

1. The MFD (cluster screen in steering wheel) constantly shows these messages:
– “Infotainment system is switched off”
– “Telephone system is switched off”

2. Steering wheel buttons work, cameras work BUT:
– no track / song info is shown on the MFD
– no caller info is shown
– Android Auto works on the head unit screen, but the MFD only shows “no name” instead of the track title

3. When I change source on the head unit (Radio → BT → Android Auto), the error message on the MFD changes (Infotainment / Telephone), but it never fully goes away and I never get proper infotainment data.

In the CAN settings of the Junsun, I have several CAN types to choose from:
XP, RZC, HiWorld, XBS, XFY, DJ, etc.
I’ve tried all of them. None of them fixes the MFD infotainment issue.
Head unit details:

- Brand/model: Junsun V2 Plus - FF_866X - MS96NV - 8667NV
- Platform: 8667Q
- Resolution: 1280×720
- HMI: TSKJ.NVG6.A.D.Q.F.JC03.2024.11.29 8.52
- MCU: G6-TS.230322 (SAT-7705N-9)
-MEDIA: HC_v2.0.0_230306_1430_R(v1.96)
- CAN driver/version: TS:2.10
- Android version: 14

Wiring / CANBUS setup:

- Car: Seat Leon Mk3 (2015, MQB)
- Factory Quadlock → KS. VW-05A 125 03F08 harness
- CANBUS decoder on that harness: SimpleSoft RP5-VW-102
My questions:
Does anyone have encountered such errors and if yes, how to overpass them.
I'm new to this i have read some posts but i can't really understand what all these mcu media hmi means.
Is it a hardware problem, is it a firmware problem, is it a canbus decoder incompatibility?

Any help is appreciated

Can't help with your fault - but interested how you get on with your aftermarket headunit.

Have you contacted the seller to ask?
Maybe there are some different settings they know.

Hi, I am waiting for my HU to arrive, and also interested in your problems.
I have one question: Do you have a drive mode button in your seat? If you do, does it show drive mode in infotaiment?
Tnx!

I have a EKIY T9 android (uis7862) headunit in my leon mk3.5. I've had no issues like yours, mine has been pretty flawless apart from poor microphone. My software looks a bit different, but for what it's worth I'm using a raise canbus decoder. I believe these canbus decoders are specifically for VW cars. Mine is set to golf 7 in the settings.

Note, my car spec is very basic, no autoheadlights, no autowipers, no heated seats, very basic standard headunit (MIB2-ENTRY), no ambient lighting, no radar, no folding mirrors, no auto climate control, basic black and white instrument cluster.

Can you post a picture of HU sideways? I am wondering how much is protruding out of the dashboard. Tnx!
My car is rhd. The AliExpress seller didn't have an adapter to fit the frame of my car, only for lhd cars. So I designed and 3d printed a custom adapter. The screen is 9 inch and it's slightly too big to fit the frame of the Leon. However it only protrudes the depth of the screen, so you'd hardly notice it and looks quite good. I'll get you a picture later

I noticed the aliexpress images were mostly/all for LHD Leon's - so RHD seems uncommon!
Very interested to see more detail on what you did?
