Just about to REVO, good or bad??

Hi guys, just finished off working on the LC. I have changed bloody everything and l feel its now ready for stage 1.

Its a LC, AUQ, 2002. Ive done breather pipes so now no vac leaks. Its got Forge 007p with green spring, just changed oil, plugs, N75, MAF, Fuel Filter, oil filter, ARB bushes, lower wishbone bushes, discs, pads etc...

lol, so im thinking REMAP !!

Do l go REVO ? Or just another generic tuning company who are cheaper ??

Im in Glasgow and want it done ASAP !!

CHeers and any recomendations are welcome !!

heard mixed reviews with REVO maps, some say they are too spikey on the graph, so no smooth power delivery. yet their are guys on here with some mean cars and they use REVO! my mate put his S3 (same engine as my LCR) in for a customcode and when the guy test drove it to check the map he bent a conrod (full rebuild required). so personally I'm scared of generic maps now and want a live RR map when the time comes, more pricey though I'm sure.

Hey man, yeah i think a RR map would most def cost more !! There are very few options in Glasgow tho..

I dont mate but if you know anyone selling a single alloy locally around the £50 mark gimme a shout, front right is slightly buckled after trying to fight with a pot hole

Mate l know the feeling, just spent a small fortune on mine

just looked on fleebay for a good 10 minutes as well n never seen that :S on the watch list, payday next friday spent £250 just on parts yesterday and today... not lookin forward to my cousins labour bill how long have you had the cupra?

Not long mate 4 weeks or so. Just ripped coilovers out and stuck LCR std setup on. Ride 100x better and l can now get over all the speed bumps in Glasgow lol

My mate done all my work for next to nothing and l sourced all the parts from Euro, got a good sale on at mo !!

got eibach sport springs on mine, bumpier than i hope but the car sat on the wheels nicely, bit firmer than standard for cornering! get a powerflex dogbone mount, cuts down engine play on acceleration. good mod for the money! fully bushed the front mine last year! never looked back. breaded lines for the brembos also on the wanted list!

yeah same man, feel like i've been fixing it since i got it!! new job now so hopefully that'll come to an end all the best with the car mate. start a build thread if you plan on going mad with it
