just bought k03s...just checking its right lol

Postage is c. $60 so about £110 to my door. I havent' made a clanger and bought the wrong one have I!?! I'm 99% sure its fine!

seems OK and your lucky to get a unsilents one which means you get a louder spool up sound.

And how come the tips on some k03s seems alot shorter?

The second one is lying and doesnt know what he is on about that is off a passat or somthing not a golf.
The silenced one has what looks like a collor round the last bit of the compesor out pipe.

My missus unsilenced ko3s (Golf 1.8T not remapped), spools louder than both my REVO'd silenced ko3 and Ollys silenced ko3s.

Could well be, both me and olly are running enclosed kits (BMC & Dynatwist) and she has standard airbox and filter.

Ive got a k03s from a 2002 golf gti which is unsilenced, im just waiting to fit it, lets hope its nice and loud as my step bros standard leon cupras turbo is real loud.

mines whistles quite loudly on spool up, same both on standard airbox with green panel and when i had an open cone k&n, only difference in noise has been the dv. Cant remember which one it is, pretty sure its silenced though?

i got my IHI through by the seller putting the value at $100 only had to pay £25 and £14 of that was handling charge.
