Went out looking for a new play thing and set my sights on a 2.0 GTi 8v, so went back to garage got the car and that was 3 days ago. Just got the insurance cover note through this morning and taxed it at lunch. Only to then start it on the drive and battery was dead. Luckily managed to sort out new battery by 6pm and just went for a quick spin. F**kin hell pretty much sums it up. But has been pissin it down all day and the tyres were spinnin all through 1st 2nd and even 3rd. Really wanted a 16v but the insurance was stupid plus hard enough to find. However, the 8v certainly pulls well but you do notice the top end drags bit though think i can sort that with few mods. Already has induction kit and exhaust system just need a remap. Anyways, been typin enough. Cheers
