Great turnaround, its good to see one of the best looking Arosas around is staying on the road. Alot of people with more knowledge but obviously less commitment would have tried to get it written off and just took the money.

erm - not really - that was never close to a write off

just look at what would have happened if you'd have hit it at 70mph...

makes me wonder if these UK speedo's work?

Most speedo's are out a bit. I had a road Angel and then a talex which always said I was doing less than my speedo did. Good work though :D great to see that the wee beastie is on its way to looking like nothing happened. [B)]

yeah when mine is sitting at 60 on the speedo the nav man sat nav says im doing 55

and yeah it was no where near a write off thank god , it was sheer luck that the deer flew away from the car and not over the top of it , and the fact the deer was quite young so wasnt fully grown . the only way it would of come close to that is if the airbags had went off as it would of needed a whole new dashboard ( £400 from the dealers ) plus new stearing wheel and airbag units

cause its all 1 piece . anywho , drove the car to work and then when i came out i had to top the coolant up as the last of the air had worked its way round the coolant system and it had all got caught in the bottle so fired another 100ml in and drove it home , been driving about all day and its holding at that level so job done :D

2k  you only did that a few months ago. Crumbs I thought I clocked the miles up :D Just goes to show workmanship I guess :D

well ive done my usual mileage + a trip to brighton and back ( 1.1k miles ) and then a trip to the awesome GTi show last week in mankychester then over to newcastle the same day to the sage to meet some of the other guys and then back home that was about 600miles atleast
