K03 (sport) Manifold

I am about to buy a Ko3s turbo (number 5304 101 5089) can someone varify that is correct? Link to see the turbo is

Then a last question...does my regular intake manifold (I think that's what you call it...the 4 pipes that are shown in the picture of the link connecting to the turbo and downpipe???) of my standard cupra fit that turbo? Or is the one that is shown there different from mine?

Hey guys can noone confirm? I am kind of eager to buy the turbo, but want to know if my own manifold fits....

I could buy a different turbo from a 2.0 TFSI (golf 5) with number 53041015194, however I am thinking this won't fit as its from a 200 BHP car...can anyone confirm that?

ko3s will fit the normal manifold,

yeah its a k03s, but the manifold is the same as standard so you dont need it


the turbo from a tfsi engine isnt compatible

So the first one is fine but the second isn't. Just like i thought....

I'll just use my own manifold...no sense in paying for a second one, if the one I have is fine

Ok...so the guy that was gonna sell me the turbo sold it to someone else and didn't inform me...

so when I called saying I would come by later today to pick it up I heard he no longer had it....

So gotta start looking all over again....and here in Holland there are barely any used ones for sale...

Any around there second hand that are still good?

I have been checking US Ebay and finding a lot of K03 turbo's however they are almost all for the Audi A4 and VW Passat....and I searched this website and people said that these turbo's don't fit ours....So i can't buy those right?

Thats right, A turbo from the passat or A4 wont fit as there mounted in the other direction.

the pics of k03 sport cos it has a silencer but then the pic is just out of a catalog or something. also when the item location says china i'd be wery

Try the forums on www.vwvortex.com there are usually a few going for about £100 on there, even with postage on top it works out cheaper

Anyway...I'll just keep searching...soon as I find something I'll post again...

i got a k03s today its like brand new it came of golf anni 180bhp part number 06a 145 713 d k03 052 it had only done 35k i paid 200 for this which i think is good dont pay to less for one as it might not be any good

Hey guys might have found something again...was hoping you could give me some more info.

He says it comes from a Audi TT, and having checked on internet and a list I have of Motor codes and the turbo the engine has, I think that audi TT never had the regular K03? Is this correct?

Hey,

Found another turbo which is new...just wanted you guys to look at it and make sure its the one I need...so anyone that could help much appreciated!
Should be the right one as I once read on here they never made silenced K03 and this is silenced. Its also from a Audi TT and again I read somewhere that they were only made with k03s?

Anyway, here is the link:
By the way, the extra flange on the first 2 pictures on the left is apparantly to fit it to 8v model golfs...but can be taken off to fit the regular 20V engines.

looks ok to me, but there aren't any part numbers to be 100%
