K03s or K04

Hi
I'm about to do a turbo change but got some questions.
Currently running standard turbo K03.
Currently I have two turbos available, K03S or K04.
Which one should be better?
Chip will be Upsolute one. Which turbo works better with it?
Is K04 installation bolt-on stuff? Or some parts have to be modified?
Also Decat and intercooler will be installed with new air filter.


I looked through whole forum but did not found answer to my questions.

K03S is a straight swap, K04 requires a fair bit more work because the exhaust exits out of the side rather than the bottom (K03/K03s).

The K04 will give you more power over the K03s.

theres 2 k04s though, one is a direct fit, the k04 001. id still say go for a low mileage k03s or eliminator k03 hybrid if youve got the money
