Yes they do but they are expensive and have little info on them! Buying from the USA with the v.good exchange rate I think is the way to make this option affordable and worthwhile.

my original budget was based on a k04 set up, because of the fact i knew i could pick up an eliminator that would have stock fitment

i've read that thread and the links you posted over and over and there has never been a viable option for a cheap replacement that i would consider. no offense...but alot of it doesn't even apply. I wont approach a company and ask them to build me a k03s hybrid, which seems the only method with some companies. I'm not willing to take the risk of wasting money on something that might be no better than what i have now

think the same goes for others and thats why nobody has one (round here)

There is one v.good viable option from the states that looks promising.
You know that hybrid k03s can give very good results because of the am04/jbs04 so this is a proven route for performance and reliabilty. Getting a hybrid k03s built would be an option but again expense is an issue and you do not know of any gains or reliability issues. Maybe speaking to one of the A and M guys and finding out the spec the am04 was built to would be a good idea and then you could get one built to that spec or compare it to the best option available as you know what gains their turbos had.

Or you could just speak to any of the USA companies that have them already and ask for figures they have got from their hybrid k03s and conclusive proof. Surely that would show you the power gained for the money you are spending!

All the companies in the UK want a considerable amount of money for their hybrid k03s or bigger turbos so as I said the USA is v.tempting.

to be honest , i cant see you doing the lot for under £2000 , that includes re map , injectors , custom made down pipe , air fuel ratio gauge with wideband lamnda , and all the other bits , + fitting , it aint gonna be cheap

....what's a proper k03s hybrid?

am04 is unobtainable
jbs04 is over priced

stear clear of the jbs04.....have a friend who has had this work done at JBS, and has had endless issues, and perhaps through his RR results at JBS should have seen 300bhp......but didnt

i think the put off is more the fact that IF it failed or there was fitment issues i'd probably be on my lone some, and would likely have no help since a US company would likely have no experience working on an ibiza and with the lack of existing users in the UK , i dunno, it seems risky to save a few quid (dont forget importing costs too)

yeah i suppose, prob scrap the idea

strictly speaking, based on that ebay ad, i was only looking to pick up a manifold, turbo with lines, and a set of injectors with 4bar.
then modify my milltek DP with a stock LCR DP (or just swap it for a custom piece)

admittedly i overlooked the TIP and maf

I'd just make a TIP if i was doing it as i only have the DV and N75 connections on the TIP, no PCV or EVAP system on mine.

Maf and TIP - ~100 quid.

I got 310mm Wilwood 4 pots.
