please don't laugh!!!

i live in sunny south africa... and we've recently had SEAT come into the country!!! i'm a huge VW fan as i actually race a MKII GTI.

question is...

can one fit the 225 bhp setup as found on the leon cupra 225bhp 1.8 T 20v on the little ibiza 180 bhp???

does it work and how much of a mission is it??? manifold, boost pipes extra...

its a different engine, you could just fit the whole lot if wanted

as for fitting a k-04, for a direct fit you would want the k-04-01, although this does not release as much power as the k-04 fitted to the LCR/TT/S3 210/225 engine

would be far easier remapping your current car with some decent mods to 220-230bhp, then go for something like the eliminator set-up (see www.atpturbo.com)

to get the actual k04 units used in the 225bhp engines you would need to start with a custom designed downpipe, 225bhp turbo intake pipe, 3"maf housing, injectors..might have missed something else too. and that's aslong as the turbo doesnt foul anything as there is very limited space in the mk4 engine bay.

mk4 cupra has an fmic as standard luckily but other modifications will be required such as a decent sports exhaust system, induction, recirc valve and a suitable remap
