Mine isnt the one your looking to px with. Mine is the higher spec silver one.
343 bhp on standard rods should be fine. Its not just bhp/torque that bends rods its the way the power comes in. Smaller turbos like k03 and k04 hybrids being pushed to and above their limits to make 300+bhp bend rods because of the way the power comes in even with lower torque levels than big turbos. There are loads of IHI 1.8Ts out there without rods because the power comes in a different way and the power band is wider.
If I was in your position and the guy who owns the white IHI was willing at the amounts you are talking I would be pxing with him for sure.

my k04 car and 1550 his way.......id get 5000 for mine though suerly 270 spanish donkeys and the car is mint, very high spec k04.
so think its a good deal ?

makes 6550.00 if i was to sell my car the chap would take 6000 all day i bet, only thing with part exing u never get the full value
£4800 and £1550 which is what you originally posted before you edited makes £6350.

i dont think you could get the money your looking at either p/x or private sale. Car prices are rock bottom at the mo as well all know, and when selling mod'd cars you never get your money back. Good luck with it all though mate
Biggest thing would be a diff but other than that engine mounts, debaffled charge pipe if you are on standard k04 one, silicone tip if thats not on the list, strut braces all round, arbs, rear spacers but that may be out the window with your adapters for your wheels, some gauges to check oil temp, afr etc. These are just things off the top of my head.

i hve gauges dont realy class them as a mod though!
i have a silicon tip forge job, my wheels are 8 inch wide on the back also with the 5 stud conversion it brings it out another inch so no need for spacers. so a diff would make it high spec lol
that would be somthing id look into doin as it dont get grip untill half way through 3rd if puching

You missed out engine mounts, debaffled charge pipe if you are on standard k04 one, strut braces all round, arbs. That would make it high spec not just a diff.
Diff makes a world of difference but is not cheap at all.
