Very nice car!

Thank you :)

Kat, that's a cracking torque figure for the few mods on the car :)

Did you get a printout of a dyno plot on Sat? ;)

I am happy with the torque figure, I actually didn't realise how much it had until I got home, as I was concentrating on the bhp figure.

I did indeed get a printout! I got quite a few sheets actually, but I am not that hot on the dyno sort of stuff...

Get the graphs scanned and posted up ;) sorry I'm just nosy as to how the actual dyno plot looked compared to the logs :)

Decided to finally try and clean my boot, since petrol or something along that lines must have leaked into it with the previous owner.

Everything out!

Spare alloy back in it's home.

Sadly I couldn't get the side bit any cleaner, I think the backing from the carpet has sort of bonded on at some point... Hopefully find something to get rid of the grubby black stuff soon.

I would personally stay away from a TX cooler.
I know others use them and have what is seemingly good results.
For me, it would always be in the back of my mind that its at not as good as the Forge one.
Also if you come to sell your car in bits the Forge one would sell quicker and easier for a better price.
But, each to their own.
I've not had any issues with my Forge FMIC which I've had for 4 years and cost me £650.
It was cooling to 5* above ambient at full throttle when outside was 26*
It took about 2 hours to fit with no cutting and the fogs could still be used if I wanted to.

If you've got the money go the Forge way.

Wise words IMO. Function over form every time :)

Just a wee update!

Bought a Rav4 for winter, so Foxy can be tucked away inside when snow, yay! Decided to winter prep car anyway, better to be prepared.
So I clay barred, then applied two coats of Body Wrap to paintwork, and two coats of Nanolex premium to the glass. Done and dusted!

Didn't bother sealing alloys, as they will be coming off in next couple of weeks and winter alloys put on. Oh, and being spoilt to a wee treat of my R alloys getting powdercoated, from my boyfriend. Excited!!!!

Looks superb Kat. Loving the pictures.

Good move getting the Rav4, my LCR won't be going anywhere near snow this year either :)

Good job there Kat. Car looks amazing!

Thank you :)

What is this body wrap from wolfs for? Wax?

Car looks super!

Where is he getting the wheels done?

Its a Nano Sealent, its basically a wax coating, but it's really good and pretty strong. One application will protect through the whole winter, John at PB suggested it for me when I was last in.

He got his alloys done at PPS Coatings in Inverurie, so they are going there once I have my wheels swapped over. His ones are really good, in anthracite. He wanted me to get anthracite too, but we already have his and hers cars so don't want them to be identical!

Thanks Tom, yeah, well winters up here are normally pretty bad for a normal car, let alone a LCR on Coilovers lol. Better to be safe than sorry ;)

***** getting winter car real men run theyr cars in the winter ;-) you not see how good my thing looked last winter... NAT

Ha, if I remember correctly I was the one who did the picking up! :p
