Shame you didn't get the result you were looking for but as you said nobody got good numbers I'd suggest that dyno may be one of the pessimistic ones. What rollers did you get your previous figures on?

286lb/ft from a stage 1 remap is pretty decent though, that's a gain of 80lb/ft over standard!

Niall, my car has never been on previous rollers, this is first power run it has had! Previous figures were from Al and Willie logging via Vagcom. Perhaps I should have had Willie in the drivers seat!

OK, assuming that figure was accurate then I'd say you probably have gained a bit - the torque you saw on the rollers is obviously a little higher and from what I've seen on here most people get better peak bhp on the road than on rollers. Did your logs have all your current mods?

hi kat, sorry you didnt get the figures you wanted but have to say your torque is very good. pictures look stunning as always :)
i dont think there is anything wrong with custom code but your map might not be setup to suit your car properly(or at its best). after my tip was fitted bill spent a while playing with settings until he was happy. then we done the dyno runs and got good figures.
one thing you do need is a turbo back system so that the tip can flow better as it will be bottle necking exhaust side.
good to read your going tx auto sport fmic :)

Yeah when 8bit said about an 80 lb/ft gain in torque on a stage one I think I would be a happy Kat tbh :)

I think it might just need a little tweak, it's maybe not set up right. This is my first remapped car, so maybe I was expecting too much. Still, Im happy for the time being :)

The toys were out of the pram for a wee while, but now Kat is happy

I love the pics, that's a bloody shiny car lol.

I wouldnt mine the tx Intercooler but I really want to keep my standard fogs in place.

 Thanks, I must admit I do have a good skin on it, so it always is pretty shiny.
Auto Finesse Tough Coat and your will be too ;)

I would like to keep my fogs in place actually...

With the latest TX you keep the fogs..

With my earlier variant, you don't..

The lower hard-piping is at a better 90 degree angle on the later version. The coloured silicone piping off the hard boost pipes low down might not look as prominent as mine though.

Forge costs more but is very much fit and forget (also easiest kit to fit) as with most of their stuff.

£350 for the TX. Last time I checked anyway.

Would buy the Forge next time if I was doing it again.
