anyone know if anything from maplins or similar will work?

I have tried searching web but cannot find specs anywhere for the microphone failed to even get a part number

Go into maplins and buy some cable connectors of your choice, and then cut just before and after the chew, strip the cable sheath back and then join them back together using the connector. You should have plenty of slack in the cable to do this.

yep they do.any mic with a jack plug the same size will work, might not be as good quality depending upon which you buy but will be minimal

thanks mt audio - other halfs car is a mk4 golf - same interior light fitting as the leon
