Just installed this unit, tell me the ins and outs.

Confused about steering wheel controls? Is that a vcds trick?

Setting radio up etc?

No vcds. Just little black box

I think I saw a small black box connected with the power adapter.. Think I need to take it out, re start the unit & try again!

Got the radio working, sat nav voice, haven't managed to get my iphone to play through the car stereo when connected through USB to the head unit, it charges the phone but won't play?

Probably need to go into settings and change your media settings. You know the instruction booklets that come with it? They should tell you

You can change the function of the usb button to ipod(in the menus somewhere).otherwise Use the change function button on the steering wheel unil 'ipod' format apperars (it goes tv,dvd,tuner,usb,ipod and so on.)

If on ipod menu and still nothing, change the connection settings on the ipod itself

Have you got the dedicated ipod lead also?

Yeah you need the dedicated lead for ipod usage.
