Kermit not well and need help,
He`s 97 2lt 16v cupra with a abf engine that seems to have a bit of a misfire ( it seems to be common reading the number of car`s effected on the forum).
He starts perfect form cold till the temp gauge gets normal and the oil temp is reading between 56 & 65c. At this point it well misfire or cut out almost if the choke has been push in to early. It will do this every day within 200 yards on the same journey then run perfect while warm.
Tempture for the ECU springs to mine but made no difference. Change plugs , leads, dizzy , coil pack and crank sensor but has made no differance. Was thinking of changing the oxegen sensor next ????? Any ideas guy`s as this is a great little car but this little hic up getting :banghead:

sounds like a sticky inj temp sensor to me

must admit they are usually crap when cold and fine when warm or vice versa

but the temp listed is when it usually flicks over so to speak
