key fob badge is it removerble?

Has anyone removed there seat badge on there key fob and replaced it with a new one
Mine looks tatty and need a new one if its possible

just get a fine flat blade screw driver and lift it off but be careful not to stab yourself lol

It's just a sticker isn't it? Get a hairdryer on it to heat it up and then try, will come off much easier

Tryed hair dryer still nothing its metal i think made more of a mess!! Lol

It supposed to come off as underneath is a screw to open up the top half of the remote. (This is where the immob chip lives)


Yes it's a thin metal badge. Plenty for sale on ebay. Just type in 'seat key fob badge'. Or get one from your dealers. Watch out though as there is two different sizes depending on which year. I think 09-13 has the smaller badge.

There is also FR and Cupra R versions available that people have made.

Yep i got mine from ebay looks good just cant get the old one off!! Ha

Need up hacking the old one off...it does budge eventually! As I had a new case it didn't really matter if i damaged the old as it was being replaced anyway!
