Knock from nearside front

Ive got a slight knocking from the front nearside of the car. Done a search and it brought up a possible suspension/spring issue but didnt really go into detail. The knock isnt huge more like a tap you'd hear if you tapped a table. Only really doest it when running over something small like a cat-eye. i tried the engine cover an small things like that but couldnt resolve it. Its just doing my head in now

Any ideas guys?

Sounds similar to my problem, worth checking to rule it out.
I've fixed mine this weekend and to be honest it was easy to do than changing the oil.
