Qualifying result - Knockhill

It's another 1-2 for SEAT, third time this year they have locked out the front row, lets hope they translate this latest result into a good points haul tomorrow.

Hopefully there won't be a repeat of the engine/electrical glitches that marred Oulton Park and Snetterton.

Provisional Results

1. Turner
2. Plato
3. Chilton
4. Onslow-Cole
5. Neal
6. Turkington
7. Giovanardi
8. Jackson
9. Jordan A
10. Shedden

Confirmed results

Since discovered that Chilton will have a 6 place penalty due to the incident at Oulton, so he starts 9th.

Does mean most of VX are lining up behind the Leon's though.

Another 1,2 on the grid is great. ike you say Z I hope they can last to the finish with a good result this time. My only worry is if they do start to dominate abith then they will get more penalties becasue they run derv.

Ian Harrison, Boss of Triple 8 has already had a moan about the SEAT Leon TDI this week in Motorsport News.

God forbid anyone else dare win other than a Vauxhall. If SEAT pull out then we'll be back to the boring one manufacturer championship again, that turned everyone off the sport.

However thankfully, we have someone in charge of BTCC who is not in anyway intimidated by Vauxhall sabre rattling.

Alan Gow said "I have checked through the regulations and can't find the clause that says a SEAT is simply not allowed to be quick"
