Hello all,
I have recently changed all the suspension bushes except arb, and now there are a lot of knocking noises From the front end. Everything is tight and where it should be. Anyone got any ideas? Suspension top mounts are new too along with drop links.

I noticed mine knocks alot more when I changed my wishbone bushes to powerflex bushes, especially when reserving and turning tight, I've doubled checked everything and alls tight, my mates fabia vrs does the same with powerflex bushes fitted so I guess it normal, it does sound horrible tho :(

Just done all mine and i have no knocks...

Did you fit the washers and little spacer things when you did the wishbone rear bushes?

I didn't fit the spacers as they were for the mk2 golf and couldn't see how they would fit. Did notice the arb does touch the wishbone now though.

Did you fit O ring washers as well?
Mines doesnt knock but some reason my driver steering arm rubbed on the wishbones causin it to ripp :(

Think i found the problem. With the spacers not fitted the bush core has moved and is knocking against the chassis. Will fit spacers and post results.

Should be fine after mate

When you had the bushes pressed in and the metal collar fitted you should notic the collar inside the bush isn't long enough, (sits inside the bush a couple of mm) the spacers and washer clamp them together and tighter! Mine are awful ao bad I've ordered VT bushes from bill

Did the bush removal and install myself in the garage. Yeah did notice they were short. Was a weekend of not paying attention to detail on the final install because one of the captive nut in the chassis rail has come off. Had the whole subframe out, interior out and some tricky welding to do in the rain. Just needed it back together for the Monday. Still will give me an excuse to mod the engine mounts when I'm doing the wishbones again.
