I have a 225 LCR and when I reverse, if i brake as soon as you press the brake there will be a loud knocking sound from the front.

Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

The pads in your front callipers moving slightly, a lot of lcr's do this, in reverse they move to the top when you brake in reverse then first brake when moving forward they are pushed back to bottom of the calliper. Next time you sort new pads a good smear of copper grease on the back can help!

i was reading in another thread somewhere about the brake pads been 1mm to small with cheap pads. Think i will get some DS2500 as they are due for a change in a couple thousand miles.
