• Hey Guest💡👉 We have just launched our new Dealer Directory and review service Find out more now
i see about 130g/s on my map and saw 215 bhp with a duff std CAT, the g/s thingy doesnt work once remapped.

250lb/ft is good mate! youd struggle to see much more without going bigger turbo. 206bhp is low, but im in the same boat as you, k03s and pulled 215 on rollers/ and 206 the next time.

Now i have a 3" downpipe i need to get my map tweaked then i should be seeing 230's with ease.

Is your timing too advanced or something? getting too hot? do osme logs on 020, 118 and 115 mate, See what your getting

Im runnings B8 T7 on Shell V-power (99ron). Dont think ive been seeing any CF's on block 020. I will do some more logs when i get chance though.

I appreciate your help mate!

Ollie.

Yeh im still running stage 2, in 2nd im hitting 23psi, 4th and 5th 25-26psi.. Swap the actuator and give it ago, i know its abit of a job to do as you gotta take the whole turbo unit off to get to it, well i did anyway didnt have the right tools!! Im not saying that it will definatly solve the problem but its worth a try mate..

Thought I would check on my actuator position as ever since the KO3s has been fitted my N75 duty is 100% at 4.5krpm -7k. Looking at it I found mine was 8threads to the end of the shaft.
Could this be causing requested to not reach actual so N75 opens 100% to close the gap in requested - actual boost?
MAF values also a tad low for a K03s at 150max too.
Have adjusted to 12 threads as above and will do a reset and TBA and see what happens later

I have checked my actuator threads and I have 10 showing on my k03s.

What would happen if I wound it out to 12?

My car is overboosting all the time at the moment after I did an ecu reset (the 1st since fitting k03s/fmic). I wondered if I could reduce the boost temporarily until I get a new n75 to test...

Wrong way, you need less threads showing on the end of the rod to reduce overboost.

Wind in toward to the turbo for more pre-load

Wind out for less.

thanks.

is there any reason why I shouldn't wind it out to 8 threads? I'm worried it might run even worse (afr etc) because it's mapped to its current position (10 threads)?

Im running HB9 T9 with 5.75deg added with lemmiwinks, Now ive always assuming this to be normal but maybe it isnt?

Ill only ever really see 22-23psi if i plant it from a slow speed. If i for instance change at the redline from 2nd to 3rd ill proberly only see around 17-18psi. same from 3rd to 4th maybe gain a extra psi.

But say im out doing some logging in 4th 1.5k and plant it once the load builds up ill see 23-24psi.

So basicly i guess what im asking is do people see there full boost in every gear after every change up?

Im currently running k03s all the trimmings and stg2

ressurecting an old thread here but im having a similar issue to the thread starter.

1.8t ibiza ko3s all the trimming on revo stage 2 all settings on 9 as logs showed that this was all ok.

problem is actual and requested boost only reaching 17-18 psi (1.2 bar)

as mentioned in this thread should be seeing more like 22 psi... my actuator is at around 13 threads should it reduce or increase the amount of threads?

also there was a mention of hoses being possibly the wrong way, which hoses are they?

cheers Adam

if requested boost is being achieved, on max settings (boost 9) at 1.2bar (2200mb on map sensor) then the n75 would seem to be connected correctly..
is your actuator single port on off k03s, or the k03 twin port one?

what duty cycle is shown on block 118 when logging?
can you post logs of 002,115,118 during a run in 3rd, 2krpm to red line

actuator should be the one which comes standard with ko3s

as for log info ill get the guy at monster motorsport to email me he previous run which was the best we got not sure if he has all those blocks but may do.
