ko3s question

Hi there.

Just about to fit a ko3s to my cupra.

Question is: What will the car run like with a REVO stage 1 map when the ko3s
is fitted? Anyone got any first hand experiance? Compared with ko3. Also will
it boost to the same value that the ko3 did? Or will it be less.

I am going to get a stage 2, but in the mean time I am just curious.

i ran my hybrid for over 250 miles on a stage one taking it easy any ways. and seems ko3 and ko3s ant alot of difference should be ok mate.

suppose ure after values for it being on the rollers depends on supporting modds bound to be some one around here who can give you a figure.

I got 230hp with 250 torque.

I had that turbo running around 235 emlyn, stage 2 done by Star performance and on there rollers. That was only 18 psi though.

ye mine ran 216bhp on revo stage 1 then 230bhp and alot smother and more driveable with stage 2

I taught is not ideal to run a ko3s on stg1 map due to fueling is mapped for a ko3

I ran mine for months with no problems. And as far as I know it's still stage 1.

You could probablys run standard map on a ko3s.

It's only the turbine side that's different really.

I never noticed a massive difference, definetly held boost longer.

Was just thinking about this exact same thing the other day. saves me searching for it now.

Our ecu's adapt anyway so it "should" adjust the fueling to a degree from the increased airflow you would get from an k03s.

this might be me being stupid but is a ko3s a hybrid? or can you buy then off the shelf?
