KO4 APR Ibiza struggling to rev past 1000rpm

Got an Ibiza Cupra-R running the K04 turbo. The car brokedown the other day, was sitting on the motorway and it started to loose power. When I started the car up, it was was shuddering then cut out. The car was lucky to rev past 1,000 revs and there was a smell of fuel. Got the car to a garage and they replaced the MAF sensor.

The MAF sensor has a clip broken off it but even when its held on the car makes no difference to how it was. On the diagnostic computer it still comes up MAF sensor.

Was told previously the car was running rich on fuel as I was running a 4 bar fuel relay regulator and I was better returning to the standard one.

The car is back to how it was when it was brokedown. Got the MAF sensor cable tied on at the moment so its holding it in place for now. But when you switch the car on it won't go past 1k revs. Is the car possibly in limp mode? All the fault codes have been cleared etc Or is there something else wrong with the car?

The car has the following spec list just incase this helps any:

K04 Turbo
APR Software
Custom Exhaust System
Milltek High Flow Cat and Downpipe
N75J Valve
Induction Kit
Paddle Clutch and Flywheel
Eibach Pro Kit
Custom Intercooler

initial thoughts are check all intercooler hoses secured

maf code would need clearing it wont go by itself although although doesnt sound like a maf issue to me, try it with it unplugged

and you shouldnt be running a 4bar unless your software is developed for one, if it is then there should be no problem...assuming the software is also designed for the turbo... what k04 is it? 001 or 023?

Got it on the road and it wouldn't go above 2.5k revs but would sit cruising at 70 on the motorway. It shudders aswell unless your sitting at a certain amount of revs. As soon as the car is idle it cuts out. Am guessing this is a coil problem?

One of the coils went a few weeks ago and was replaced with a cheap coil. I have got 4 coils from Seat now though waiting to be fitted.
