@Bouncerbeater: That drop from Koni kit seems perfect to me ! Really like it. What is your opinion on the kit overall ? I suppose its the STR.T kit right ? I also wonder if it would look the same on my 1M TopSport

Yes it is that kit which uses h&r springs. I personally feel that the Koni kit is a lot more refined than the standard setup. Stiffer but more compliant at the same time if that makes sense. Certainly the car handles a hell of a lot better.

Regards the "back low front high" comment,i have just been out and measured wheel arch to floor all round, before any fitting commences. 66cms all round give or take a few mm. I am gonna myself be pretty
p--sed off if the front ends up higher than the back after all the bits are fitted. We shall see....

Thats as near as my measurements after fitting, however I'll say my front has dropped approx 8 mm in the last week. Keep us updated mate.

Well, ive done about 40 miles since the AP suspension and new top mounts were fitted on Wednesday....£80 all in by a local garage which has been an absolute gem of a find.
What a revelation !!!
My Toledo now, finally, feels alive and connected to the road. There is a hell of a lot less roll through the bends and hardly any jerking forwards and backwards under acceleration and braking. The car also feels reassuringly uncomfortable over the rough bits and a lot more stable at speed.
I am glad i chose the AP set up over the Koni/Apex as it feels just right for me in the comfort/firmness stakes.
All in all i am very happy and cant wait to go for a good blast at the weekend.
I will post up some actual drop measurements over the weekend when i get the chance to park on some level ground.

Well.......640 and 645mm at the front and 650 and 655mm at the back, from wheel arch to road.
I am just wondering whether there are any pivot bushes on the suspension that are supposed to be tightened only with the full weight of the car bearing down......

The bog standard 16 inch Starfish wheels at the moment. I do have some 18 inch 5 spoke ones to go on but am gonna wait till my current tyres are ready to be replaced before they go on....
