This is the car that gave me the idea of a grey roof instead of black.
The car looks awesome!! And the Mk3's look amazing in white
Right decided to get off me arse and get some photos.
Here you can see the very poorly fitted Toyosports intercooler!!!
I have just had an intercooler made up at work (Forge leon cupra R intercooler with brackets removed)
Trial fitted to day to see where the brackets needed welding on so will be getting them welded on shortly.
Im still going to use the Toyosports pipe work but i have changed all the hoses from 2ply to siliconehones.com 4ply ones. and getting a 6/7mm take off on it for the N75 valve.
I have also swaged all the pipe ends as they came without.
Changed the front section of pipe run so that it didnt stick into the lower part of the bumper and using black hoses on the intercooler its self. (i hate on show pipes)

Got a set of Forge coolant hoses today as the old ones were looking tierd.
Nice and easy to fit and makes the engine bay look so much beter.
Stripped the aircon out apart from the pump as i need a belt (ill get one the weekend)
removed alot more of the interior and sound deadning removed around 20kg of bits today

Little update
Today received a few bits and bobs
2 x Cobra monaco s seats
Dished suade steering wheel
Steering wheel boss
Alloy battery tray
Battery relocation distribution block
Door pull handles
window switch panel
powerflex subframe bushes
powerflex steering rack bush
Took the steering wheel off and weight was 4 kgs which was suprising.
I now have no interior what so ever bar the dashboard . Which is coming out over the xmas holidays to get flocked
Whilst its out ill remove all that i can including the aircon matrix.
most of the sound deadning is gone just needs cleaning up in a few spots (worst job ive ever done)
Removed all of the wires for the airbag system .
rerouted all the wiring down the rear arches.
Last week i removed the 7kg aircon pump and fitted a 1.8t non air con belt.
