lam sensor help

my girlfriend brought a 01 cupra and about 2 weeks later the eng light came on got it into seat datchet and they said it was the lamda sensors had them changed and the car reset about 3hours later the light came on any ideas please sorry about spelling

depending on the codes (and how long she ran the car for with the warning light on) it could have knackered the catalyst
