Laser on Headunit

Hi

It’s a question about a Lexus is200 unit but I wondered if you guys can help, the laser is on its way out, it will read a cd and then 5 minutes later error, then if I turn then head unit of for 5 minutes it will work, what I wanted to know was do you guys know of any place that will be able to repair the unit? As I have priced up a new one and it works out quite expensive

From past experience with things like that it can work out nearly as expensive to get fixed as the parts tend to be expensive.

Unless you can do it yourself by finding a replacement laser unit online somewhere for the Head unit and then try and get it apart.
