I can't remember for the life of me where I read this but does frequent use of launch control affect the warranty on a dsg 4drive,I remember reading it could exclude the gearbox if used more than a set amount ?.
Thanks,just read it,according to vw there's no limit.I would try looking in the warranty documentation first... if it’s not documented, then it would be hard for this to be used as evidence for non payment of claim/warranty work.
Obviously the friction materials in the clutch plates are parts that are subject to wear and tear, so this is one area where you may struggle, if excessive use of launch control had caused premature wear.

Doesn't mention that in my user manual that came with the car in the section for launch control, so can't see how they can say that in later statements.Seat say any more than 3 times, the warranty is void!
