now come on
might have taken time and missing a part on the first delivered LC systems

but the equipment itself is good for the price the GB are paying
lets not get this out of prospective and start bashing

alot of systems to produce after all

For sure, it's a good price and I'm sure they are charming people to deal with. But - and try and see this from the perspective of somebody whos not involved in organising the GB - this is just the latest in a long line of horror stories relating to BF and their build quality, quality control, attention to detail and customer service.

fair enough rob
they have taken a bashing here of late

used them on my gt-four and nobody i know has ever had a problem with them there

i just think some people are worth sticking with, BF are obviously over-stretched for their capabilities. each to their own

alot of horror stories which you hear about
alot of satisfied customers you dont hear about

I've got a blueflame system myself, downpipe, cat the lot and i'm happy as a pig in sh*t with it,
but this GB isnt exactly one of the smoothest tranactions i've seen,
if BF couldnt cope then they should have seen sense not pound signs!

Good luck tho!

exactly
just depends on your patience levels

i can understand why people are agitated though, it has taken a long time
personally i always expect GB's to drag on

I'm the same, I always expect GB's to take a long time, it's the price you pay for saving money! BUT... and this is a big BUT... when the product arrives I expect it to be properly constructed, to a high standard, with all relevant parts included.

Taking ages to build it and still getting it wrong is not good enough, IMO.

I do have to say (and I've not bad-mouthed them yet) that the delays with the Cat's (which has caused the large part of the time delay) should have meant that the systems were dispatched right 1st time.

I'll wait to see what my exhaust man thinks of the product in general, seeing as he makes exhausts himself he'll have a fairly critical eye!

Just be careful that what he is telling you is honest advice, and not a 'you should have bought it from me' sales pitch :)

Fair play :) I only said that as I've been in situations before where you ask somebodies advice as a professional, but all you get is a sale pitch about how wonderful they are!

i spoke to Dave today regarding Tris's exhaust which is sat on the floor at my work waiting to be fitted (would have been done yesterday if we had all the bits  )

should have the above part by tomorrow aswell

the issue lies with the connector between the dp and the front section, a problem you will never have with a magnex as it doesnt have this part, so you cant compare and say "well you wouldnt have this problem with a magnex"

i can appreciate its not the best service, but i know BF are a small outfit so im not going to jump on the bandwagon over this

im not but if i had'nt have been messed about i would have a blueflame it, i needed something on a set date and they never came up with the parts thats why i have a popping and banging magnex decat system which i will change at some point
