Lc coilpack recall. news

Just gave seat aberdeen a phone about the coilpacks recall thing. My car is covered ( 02 cupra 180 turbo ). Also getting a free health check bad diagnostics print out for free. Better get it serviced quick then. Booked in on the 29th of November.

Be my first use of a dealer I've had since I started driving. 2 years ago.


Worth a phone guys with your chassis number.

It's called a workshop recall

Some certain 180 bhp cupra's come under manufacturer recall at the main dealers... You will need your chassis number when you ring them

The lass said to me that model of car comes under the warranty recall. I don't think mine are miss firing at all but it's worth it mfor the free parts. Don't have much information on my cupra and parts replaced.

They said there won't be a courtesy car and it be done in a day. Might just buy some spark plugs and get them fitted at the sane time.

Should I wait till afterwards to fit the n249 bypass mod. Incase they they meddle with it?
