LC fuel flap release button....illuminated?

Odd question, should this be illuminated? the TCS button next to it is but it seems odd that the petrol one isn't (at least in my LC)...not got around to pulling the switch out and seeing if there is a bulb in there or not.....

Mine in my LCR is so I guess yours should be to.Maybe a blown bulb??

Mine does once i have turned off the car, otherwise its off.

I have a 2002 1.4 Leon S which just has the petrol button on the centre column. From the time I put my key in the ignition and turn on. The petrol flap release button is lit up.

My oll 1.4 used to be on all the time....

I had the switch out yesterday and it's odd because there isn't the typical bulb in there...there is a crude push switch mechanism to operate the button plus a small bit of circuit board with what could be a tiny LED on.....

looks like it may be this that's blown but seems new switch in order..... not that I can be massively bothered as it's only a button!!!
