The LC is a good car for the money, Ive modded mine now and its faster than the standard LCR.

Depends how far you want to go with it to make it more exciting to drive - money money money

I'm no expert, but I've had my FR (=LC!) for about four months now and I've got to say I'm pretty impressed. Don't think you can call it dull :confused:

I suppose it's all relative really, relative to an LCR it probably is a bit more sedate, but I'd say only a bit. Relative to my old MK2 Golf 1.6 it's positively rapid!

As I say I'm well happy with it at the mo, but anticipate a remap at some point in future when I'm looking for that bit extra.

cant say its that slow, ive beaten a fair wack of cars on the roads with mine
maybe your just **** behind the wheel

but revo will take it to 210bhp in standard form
 
For me the power is perfect, faster enough to have fun! Fast enough to overtake and eats motorways for breakfast! Brilliant when driven normally but has some go when you want it But would not, put in the performance car market, it's not been designed for that! Auto car said it was a perfect true to form realisation of what a hot hatch is meant to be! ( a practical family car, thats been tweaked to also be fun , without many cars being able to keep up with you on a country lane) A lot of the fster cars people mention, have a quite a deficiency of equipment, leads to being lighter, but also far less practical

i can hold my hands up and say i believe as ive been in thus car and yes lcr eater.
Mines only got a modded air box and green coolant senders in it and i can stay with the lcr's no probs.Sometime a flash out of the way is needed with some but it all depends on the DRIVER at the end of the day ,,,IF YOU GOT THE BALLS that is:lol:
plus if your runnin standard unleaded read you owners manual and it tells you to run supper unleaded so try that but better still spend a little extra and use optimax that may change a few minds it changed mine

The same thing you used to do with rs turbo and the like,change the senders, change the injectors to green and add hp every little helps in my books
oh yeh only £26 so a bargain aswell

Funny you should say that. Having aquired an SPS3, I spent a few days running around with Revo turned off to try to gauge how much better my Stage 2 is. Different car.....

So I passed this red LC on the motorway (tow bar on the back, private plate) that I have overtaken a few times before - and guess what..... he wants to have a go this time :doh: :D

lol! 'killed this', 'destroyed that'.

I've driven both (well all three: LC, 1.6 VTI and 1.8 VTI), sure the LC is the faster car beyond 60 - 70, but it won't destroy either of them. Power/Weight of all 3 is very similar, Civics handle better - it's only the superior torque of the LC that gets it away in the end.

I absolutely agree! The cars mentioned are very similiar 0-60 times, so who cares who killed who etc.... This post is becoming childish, i know there are a lot of users here who know their stuff & some who just post for blagging purposes!!!

i must say i did have the edge over a long dual carraigeway against a clio 172, i wouldnt have thought there would be much in it, but he was ragging it and i wasnt having to give mine everything to stay with him, i coulda gone past if i had enough road

On a serious note - anyone had a exhaust conversion done from Milltek - can anyone recommend?

Am considering a milltek conversion too in the near future LCR Killer so any info here too would be appreciated...
