Hello all, this is my first experience using vagcom and logging so I may have missed something.

I'm looking to get a stage 1 amd remap very soon so wanted to get an idea of the sort power she's running standard and any fault codes. I logged blocks 003 and 020 after doing some reading on here, 1st run was in 3rd gear, the 2nd run was in 4th gear.

Does everything look ok? I'm not sure what block 020 logs but I think 173.9 g/s peak in 3rd is about right for a standard lcr?

That should sort it out for you, if you ever want to post Excel data then wrap the text in 'code' tags. 173.97g/s equates to around 220bhp which is about right to be honest. Correction factors are also ok as they are, worry if that ever goes above 6 but now everything looks healthy :)

Cheers for doing that :) much easier to read now. I'm not sure what correction factors are i just knew to log 003 and 020 together, still learning how to use vagcom.

thanks

As far as I know CF's are timing retard which basically you don't want too much off as the car is trying to prevent engine knock in the combustion chamber which over a period of time can be destructive. You should see generally under normal driving conditions no more than an average of 2 degrees of timing retard, you have a max of 2.3 so you are fine.

To work out BHP on this engine via g/s readings then take the highest g/s number and divide it by 0.8. Alternately take the highest g/s number and multiply it but 1.275 which gives a slightly higher figure. I usually do both and guage the bhp by somewhere between the two numbers.
