LCR and Tints

Whos had their LCR tinted? I'd like it done but cos the interiors so dark anyway i'm worried that even a light smoke we be like a world war 2 black out in the cabin. Anyone got any pics?

Not got any pics of interior but wouldnt say it looks much darker when inside!

lcr tints

i had my platinuim grey r tinted with a gradiant smoke, it looks the mutts, and it not to dark on the inside, it will look darker from the outside coz of the black inside!!

I have had mine done and mine are 20% on the back only i didnt get the front done

I've just had mine done last week on all but the windscreen (obviously) and they were done with a 35% tints. The car is a black LCR and looks cracking and on the outside and it dosent seem all that much darker than before. I will clean it in a minute and post a pic if i can work out how!!

Any pics of a RED LCR with tints, need to know what % to go for.

I am feeling 100% on rear 3 and legal limit on front 2

IMHO you should keep the same tints all round as it looks more balanced but its up to you, also the legal limit on the fronts is 70% light transmission, the factory tint is about 78% so you will find that almost all after market tints on the front will be technically illegal. That said most coppers are pretty lenient as long as they are not completly black and i dont know anyone who has failed a mot on this .

MOT not a problem.
Coppers are 'ok' round my way for tints (i have seen some major illegal tints)

The balance was the thing I was thinking of, darker rear than front??? would they look right??

i'm going to get mine done at some point, light smoke all round. don't want to go too dark as i'm 32 this year and don't want the limo look (too old)
