Right. Without wanting to sound like a complete idiot, which I am btw, I need a bit of advice.

I completely hate the "yellow" look of my LCR's headlights at night, but seriously doubt my abilities at fitting a HID kit.

So can I get some half decent looking "white" bulbs without going HID? And also what size bulbs do I need? Ive seen H7's... but it seriously means nothing to me!

Help greatly appreciated!

H7 is the correct bulb. Just get a HID, they are plug and play with a hole just need cutting in your lense cover.
Search the forum there is loads of threads on both HID and non HID bulbs.

I've recently bought and fitted some Osram nightbreakers, I'm pleased with them. I suppose they're the next best thing to HID's.

I'm not a fan of yellow lights either, but then I'm not a fan of them being blue for that matter.

I don't bother with HID.

Just stick some decent +xx% bulbs in, as high a number as you can find. There was a review ages ago on them, can't remember what won but the info is on here somewhere!

They light up the road well enough, and look bright, not yellow or blue.
