Been trying to get my front wheels aligned on my 04 plate LCR for ages now, different places tell me a different story every time.now according to the print out the only thing which is out of spec is the off side front camber(too much negative).one of the alignment places visited said this would not cause inner tyre wear so left the camber well alone, but guess what the inner is starting to wear quicker!the last place i took it to said they would adjust the camber for me,but could not get the ball joint to budge in the wishbone even though there was space to(elongated holes).I watched for ages as he struggled with it!now my question is is there anything he missed(all he loosened was the three nuts witch hold the ball joint to the wishbone),track rod, compressing springs?any help would be apreciated.

Thanks for the swift reply, any idea where to 'tap' it,do you have to take the wheel off and hit the ball joint in?i need to take it back to him soon because my steering wheel is not straight (damn that red line on the LCR!) would it be worth trying myself to move it a few mm befofe i take it back?im handy with cars just did'nt want to touch the alignmet without a machine.also how much movement do you get on the ball joint(i need about 0.5 degrees).

The bolts that adjust the camber are the ones that mount the ball joint to the swing arms.
On mine the -0.5 degrees of camber on standard ride height was with the swing arms all the way to the end of the slots, this is the OEM spec.
As above you can takwe the swing arms off of the balljoints with no problem. A tap should help
