Have a lcr with a fMIC,and cant decide whether to just leave it as it is, fitted bigger mesh to show off the FMIC, remove the middle mesh altogether, or finally move the no. plate to the side and smooth the crash bar over with some kind of black cover..

Anybody done any of the above, and got any pics handy so I can decide..

i cut the top numberplate tooth off and meshed the whole thing

This is what it looks like at the moment, got a few updates as Ive been a wee bit busy (and skint now)

 
Rick, have you got any better pics as i cant see much, and am interested in doing this but dont want to start and the find it looks pants and ruined my bumper, cheers:D
 
numberplate bracket was made to clip onto the bottom lip of the bumper and just hooked round, could be removed if required.
 
can u post any other pics of this from adistance, (if you know what mean)

Rick, just read you build thread top job mate,just to confirm, the mesh you used is it the same as the one on the MG's intertwined pieces of wire resulting in diamond shapes.

cheers, just bite the bullet and do it, but rememer you get what you pay for 1000 quid is cheap for a respray.

hi mate i got my IC showing removed the mess and put on smaller number plate jus above. i had the plate near the splitter before but didnt luk as good so put it back were it meant to be. look at avatar pic. works computer dnt let me add pics lol

Looking good i have to say. You got any of the front end, the bit where the standard bit of plastic sits behind the number plate, seen as youv cut it out! No matter if not!

how do you mean? the tooth that you mount he plate to? i cut that off ages ago when it was black
