Hi Guys,

Bit of a silly one really.

I need to change the front splitter as i smashed the last one, but i cannot for the life of me get the old one off.

Do i have to undo any of the screws on the bottom plate, or should it just pop off.

I gave up in the rain today. Any help or techniques would be appreciated.

Thanks

As far as i know i just unclips, it will be pretty tough to get off though as people have used car jacks to get enough pressure on them to get it to clip in.

pull off the sides first working your way round from the wheel arches to the centre, then either stand on the middle of it carefully applying pressure with your foot, or push it down away from the bumper by hand.

dont get ripped off on ebay with these splitter which go for silly money as they are less than £20 from the stealers

I have already got the new splitter, cost me about £19.00 from the dealer. I saw them at almost £30 on ebay! crazy..

Ok, well it looks like i need to just be a little more forceful getting the old one off.
Thanks

Top tip: hook the claw end of a claw hammer under the lip of the old splitter to pull it away, starting at the ends.
