Hi all,
My Cupra R heater has never got hot since I bought the car.
When climate control is set to hot (displayed as Hi on screen), it blows normal temperature air - like from outside.
If I'm lucky, sometimes it will give the slightest bit of warmth (I mean just noticeable) - but it is not useful / good enough.
Something is wrong and as the cooler temps come in this time of year, I'm looking to get this fixed ASAP.
Some history…
I've searched the forum but I couldn't find much about this issue.

- My car loses coolant very slowly. It will take 3-4 weeks for the header tank to go from max to min (measured when the car is fully cooled overnight).
- I recently had cam belt service at VAGTech and I let them know about the issue and asked if they could diagnose it. They said they would do a coolant flush and pressure test as part of the job... When I picked the car up, they reported everything was fine but problem continues. As the car didn't go in for this specific problem it would be inappropriate to query with them why it is still an issue.

- Can anyone suggest any troubleshooting steps?
- Heater matrix could be blocked up? - Would this be causing the slight leak (built up pressure around matrix)?
