According to sources on TDIclub.com, the OEM LUK TDI clutch is rated to approx. 270 ft/lbs, which is why a remapped PD150 will usually slip the clutch, as after a remap the torque is about 285 ft/lbs.
 
Yeah that's true. Why not speak to some of the tuners on here, or look through the readers rides - plenty of remapped TDI's. See what power they are running and whether they have had the clutch done.

A tuner should be able to tell you what lb/ft one of their generic maps would push on an otherwise standard TDI, so that should give you an indication, since even most generic maps end up with clutch slip.
