You ain't seen the size of the speedbumps near my house then

Everywhere I have been in my car since lowering it I have had no issues. Only one has been on 1 of the speedbump.... The other 5 are fine to go over

And I need to go into my girlfriends driveway at a really funky angle so not to rip my splitter off lol

I have to reverse on the drive as it is and the splitter scrapes on most bumps round here but hopefully stiffer springs will stop the nosedive into the humps.

Ok I have had these fitted. The distance from arch to floor is the same distance front and back but visually the rear looks far lower than the front. Driving home the car felt bouncy aswell. Is this normal? When fitted and adjusting the fronts to make it lower do you turn the spanner towered the back wheel or the bonnet?

the rear looks slightly lower on mine too, even tho the distance from arch to floor is the same

to lower you want to turn the nut so it goes down, so that means turning towards the bonnet. to raise it you turn the nut towards the back wheels

as for the bouncy ride...... mine doesn't really feel like that, it will feel slightly bouncier than the OEM setup tho

Mine is quite noticeable. I did straight away. I know they will settle but if they both get lower the difference will be the same. By nut I take it you mean the plastic thing the spanner fits onto?

im running eibach sportline springs and the car catches everywhere i don't know how you guys run that low with out problems in car parks and speed bumps, i scrape the sump getting into my garage lol

mine are wound down to a few threads from the bottom and I have to be a bit more careful than normal but I dont really have many problems getting places

+1

sounds like a similar setup to me, i'm careful as it is after having a string of very low cars in my time

my lcr is actually not really been lowered to my usual standards :cartman:

i can't be bothered with the hassle i used to have

Yea I used to be able to get around easier than OEM setup when I lowered it by 20-30mm but couldnt help going lower haha. Compared to some cars that are low the LCR isnt really that bad

I have adjusted mine today as there was a larger gap passenger side to driverside. I counted 16 protruding notches from the bottom on both sides and reduced them both to 8 notches. I still have a larger gap on the passengerside front compared to driverside though. All of the gaps including rears are even apart from front driverside. I know that is the wheel under the engine weight and as the notches were already even I reduced them both equally. Does this sound ok or should I have left more notches driverside to compensate for the weight ( even though AMD left them even to start with. Thoughts please.

The only real way to setup accurately is corner weighting
I have adjusted mine so many times and again recently due to battery relocation
You can always trial different heights but make a note of your original settings
